Old Orland Insurance Inc., is a locally owned independent insurance agency and brokerage that was formed in 1946 by John Murphy on Chicago's Southwest side after his return from his tour of duty in the service. Mr. Murphy built an agency with the help of his wife Irene that was there for all of the residents and businesses that were moving to the area. Mr. Murphy was a vital part of the Orland Community serving on the planning board for over 25 years, helping to shape Orland for the future.
Today the Agency is run by Martin Murphy, and the agencies goal is still the same today, to design and provide insurance programs that are broad in concept and scope, underwritten by insurance companies of unquestionable financial stability, for premiums that are competitive and economical, while providing our clients with quality service and expertise. Old Orland Insurance is licensed as an agent with over a half dozen major insurance. Old Orland carries all major lines of Insurance and still is helping the Orland area continue to grow by specializing in Contractors Insurance.
Martin is joined at the agency by Keith Schutte, and the 4th generation of the Murphy family Maria, Patrick and Ryan.
